It also supports different types of optical fibers, such as single-mode and multimode fibers, e diferentes tipos de transceptores ópticos, como SFP e SFP+. O cabo CPRI pode operar em diversas condições ambientais, including temperature changes, umidade, pó, e névoa salgada, while offering high reliability and durability.

Cabo CPRI: Como funciona

The user plane carries data and signals between the REC and the RE, such as IQ data, synchronization signals, and alarm signals. The control and management plane controls and manages the RE, including its configuration, status, and performance.

The CPRI interface defines different functional split options for physical-layer processing between the REC and the RE. The functional split determines how much physical-layer processing is performed at the REC and how much is performed at the RE. It also affects the amount of data and the number of signals transmitted over the CPRI interface. The functional split option can be selected based on network requirements such as latency, bandwidth, and cost.

Conclusão

CPRI cable is a type of optical fiber cable used to connect radio equipment (RÉ) at cell sites to base stations (Bobagem) on the ground. Compared with traditional copper or coaxial cables, CPRI cable offers higher bandwidth, longer transmission distances, menor atenuação, e menor custo. O cabo CPRI é baseado no padrão CPRI, which defines the key parameters and protocols for communication between the RE and the BS. It can help wireless network operators optimize their network architecture and improve network performance.
